Arturo Henriquez
Entrepreneur, M&A advisor, author and speaker. Raised between the United States and Mexico. Works across the United States, Latin America and Europe.

Over 30 years of starting, buying, building, operating and selling companies
Arturo Henriquez has started, bought, operated and sold more than 60 businesses of his own in more than 20 industries, including restaurants, technology, oil and gas, data centers, real estate and logistics. Over his career he has taken part in more than 130 transactions and raised over $100 million from venture capital funds, banks, asset-based lenders and angel investors. He has led more than 2,000 employees across his companies, and he once won control of a company worth more than $100 million through a proxy fight, restructured it and took it public on a U.S. exchange.
His corporate career includes Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Lehman Brothers, where he worked as an international sales trader, and KPMG, where he was a Managing Director in the M&A practice. In Mexico he was Chief Procurement Officer of Pemex, the national oil company. He merged 123 purchasing units spread across four multibillion-dollar subsidiaries, with more than 4,000 employees and a unionized workforce, into one centralized procurement division. Over 18 months the change produced more than $2.5 billion in savings. He also represented Pemex on the Board of Directors of Repsol, the Spanish energy group.
Today he is a Senior M&A Advisor with Transworld Business Advisors and the founder of Business Action Now. He advises business owners and buyers on acquisitions, growth and exits, and he invests as a general partner, structuring acquisition vehicles for accredited investors.
He writes and speaks about buying businesses, building teams and the role of emotional intelligence in leadership. He is the author of four books, including the bestsellers Buy Yourself Into Entrepreneurship and Leading High Performing Teams, and hosts a weekly podcast, How To Buy A Business And Scale It. He has taught at the graduate and undergraduate level, covering corporate finance, strategic negotiation, the evaluation of investment projects and geopolitics.
Arturo attended Phillips Exeter Academy. He earned his undergraduate degree and a double master’s in International Relations and Communication at Boston University, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and as a life coach.
